Nestled in the heart of the Dolomites, Hotel Am Anger was the perfect Christmas retreat for my family. The mornings began with a lavish buffet breakfast, featuring crispy croissants, local cold cuts, and fresh fruit - an ideal start before hitting the slopes. Just a short two-minute walk from the bus station made getting to the Kronplatz lifts incredibly easy; it felt like we were stepping right into winter wonderland. The hotel's cosy alpine charm was complemented by the friendly service from the Ausserdorfer family, who truly made us feel at home. I particularly enjoyed the evenings in the inviting bar overlooking the snow-capped peaks, where we shared laughter and stories over a few well-crafted cocktails after dinner. What truly captivated me was the culinary experience; each meal was a delight. We savored delicious South Tyrolean specialties with a bountiful salad buffet - quite a treat! it was a delightful stay, bringing together adventure, relaxation, and wonderful company - perfect for those looking to unwind and recharge in stunning surroundings.
